Glapwell Carnival 2014 – Keeping with tradition from the Carnivals of the past, this year saw our first celebrity ‘Matthew Wolfenden’ to make an appearance at the Carnival.  As celebrities go he was an absolute delight spending time chatting with visitors and posing for numerous photographs. For our 4th Annual Carnival the weather was kind to us. The procession of floats this year was very impressive with a variety of different themes.

Bramley Vale School beat high competition to win 1st place.  Once again the procession was led through the village by the Seaforth Highlanders Band to the Cricket Ground, where a variety of stalls and attractions were on display including for the first time the Royalty Court with our very own Carnival Royalty.
